The Independence Place (IP), Inc.  service area is a wealthy and generous location of the Commonwealth. A great number of services are available to help people with disabilities. Food banks, clothing banks, ramp building projects, heating-cooling, and other forms of financial assistance are all available, and Independence Place knows about or will discover resources to assist you in your endeavor to live independently in the community. Grants are available to supplement your disability income. Assistive Technology loans are available to assist you in using a computer or other equipment that is necessary for Independent Living.  Dental care, prescription medication programs, transportation projects, accessible and affordable
housing, Attendant Care services, legal and civil rights issues, education and training, mobility, voting accessibility and other individual needs as related to disability can all be addressed, learned about and ordinarily resolved through your contact with Independence Place.
