Having a job is more than just making money, its about feeling accomplished. If you are a client of OVR or would like to be referred to OVR for employment services, come and see out IL Coordinator to start the process of gaining employment. These services include:

  • Job Development and Employment Skills Training
  • Long-Term Supports

Male consumers who are seeking gainful employment can come and shop in our closet to find a suit that will set them apart in the interview process. If you are in need of a suit or professional attire talk with our IL Coordinator set up a consultation.

Center for Independent Living (CIL) Service Area

Independence Place (IP), Inc., coverage provides the core Independent Living (IL) services for counties including: Harrison, Scott, Bourbon, Nicholas, Fayette, Franklin, Woodford, Anderson, Mercer, Jessamine, Boyle, Lincoln, Garrard, Madison, Estill, Powell, Clark, Bath, Bracken, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Mason, Pendleton, Robertson, Wolfe, Pike, and Floyd.

Independence Place, Inc., Consumer Service Division, assists individuals with disabilities in locating accessible and affordable housing, education and training, legal and civil rights, communications, barrier removal, food and heating/cooling resources, home furnishings, transportation services, voter registration, Family Services, Rehab Technology Services, counseling services, and other services which assist the person with a disability to live independently within the community.
